An Impulse in Neutral 24x24 Mixed Media on canvas

The Interconnections Series is inspired by the concept that nature connects in a wide variety of patterns and ecosystems that are biodiverse and complicated.

The different elements of the natural world, a leaf, a petal, a bird, all come together in a textured, tangled, layered beauty as seen by this artist not in realism but in the web of universal life. These paintings include original botanical prints that I have made with a gel plate. The leaves, petals, grasses, buds are gathered from my yard or wanderings.
